ABOUT THE FOUNDER & DESIGNER

Rupali, the founder and creative force behind TDF, embodies this spirit of innovation and dedication. She began her journey in 2015, driven by a deep passion for craftsmanship and design.
Her foundation in the design was laid at the Indian Institute of Crafts and Design (IICD) in Jaipur, where she graduated in Product Design.
Her early career was shaped by her work with renowned artist John Bowman, where she gained invaluable experience in product development and refined her artistic skills.
After five enriching years of honing her craft and exploring the depths of true artistry, she launched her own venture, The Design Forge.
With a profound appreciation for traditional craftsmanship, she has preserved the age-old techniques of sand casting, ensuring that each piece reflects the authenticity and heritage of traditional methods. Her team of artisans is highly skilled in handcrafting, with most creations at TDF being meticulously handmade, showcasing the fine detail and dedication that goes into every piece.
Nature serves as a constant source of inspiration at The Design Forge, influencing the stories and designs behind our work. Each creation, from the intricately designed Mashobra Lamp to the Bamboo Lamp and the elegant Champa tree sculpture, tells its own unique story, reflecting the beauty and complexity of the natural world.
